Auto Tilt mirror

Hi all,

Just taken delivery of my 2021 Supra Pro 3.0 in the UK.

Love the car but 1 minor niggle is the auto tilt mirror when reverse is selected.

Can this be turned off?

Here's an excerpt from the Canadian owner's manual. The manual contains all sorts of useful information, and at the back there's an alphabetical index to help locate that information:

Apart from the misspelling of kerb, I expect this information applies in the UK, too.

Thanks, that works perfectly and makes absolute sense.

The car was delivered to me without the book pack and user manual etc. I've chased the dealer for it now.

You can disable this with BimmerCode (and adjust the tilt amount!)

Same here, Apparently they no longer provide a hard copy of the user manual (Environmental reason) however it can be requested from the dealer from what Toyota UK said. In the same boat waiting to hear back rom the dealership. Didn't get a service book either.

I tried it with both keys again and after sitting a couple of hours the problem is gone…. hmmm

This is a common thing on all my previous BMW's. Slide the driver/passenger mirror switch to the other side and the mirror won't tilt down while reversing.

Man this old thread helped me out no end, I couldn’t figure out why it stopped tilting
