About the new released Dinan intake:

I picked it as it is functional like the Eventuri, but produces more noise (but not silly amounts like some out there) and is a lot cheaper!

Where did you purchase your Dinan intake from? I have been speaking to them direct, shame they don't offer shipping outside of the states.. They did point me in the direction of a couple of companies, just interested to see who you used (and probably follow suit.)

Also, hope you don't mind but I'm going to copy your strut brace idea, looks very stock!

NOTE: Dinan sell the intake and turbo inlet separately. You don’t have to get the inlet, it just adds more noise and less restrictive than OEM. (some of the aftermarket intakes don’t even offer the turbo inlet part)

By all means, copy away! I think there is also a black/grey GR emblem where I was 50:50 on which to use..

Just spoken to X-PH, they haven't got any in stock nor can they give me an ETA.. I was actually looking at the CTS inlet pipe, did not realize they also did one. Tempted to go CTS inlet, HKS filter, & the Verus resonator delete, as a stop gap...

If it helps, I did BMS inlet resonator delete and HKS panel filter and it made maybe 2% difference, can just about hear it with windows down and driving next to a wall.

Not sure how much the inlet pipe would make on top of this.

A bit like the OEM muffler\exhaust mod, best just to save up for the real thing.

That does, was hoping for better results reading the blurb on each item.. I know you need to take that with a pinch of salt, but still, sounds like I'm best waiting and sourcing the full induction kit. I have gone back to Dinan and asked for some alternative suppliers / begged them to ship me one to the UK hehe. I have also suggested to them a new UK distributer, as their current one doesn't even list their products... Fingers crossed!

Yeah, the Dinan intake is a bit of a hot item as it just got released. Realistically, you are looking at a month+ waiting. I am not sure how much of an order backlog they have though so could be worse..

My only tip is to keep an eye on Dinan‘s stock as they can suddenly have stuff out of the blue. And at that point talk to X-PH as they just drop-ship from Dinan anyway.
(Or just order one from X-PH and be ready for a wait)
