Base audio (non-JBL) head unit

Has anyone pulled out their base audio (non JBL) head unit? If so, is there an optical MOST cable/connection on the back? Our base audio system does not utilize MOST optical to carry the signal to the amp. Instead uses an analog signal through the HU/ASD/Amp. I'm looking to connect an optical MOST cable on the back of the head unit and run it to the trunk for a mObridge K2 8.1.1, and code it to send optical signal instead of analog. Just tryng to see if there is an optical connection on the back of the base head unit before I start disassembling the dash.

I can't answer your question, but my installed did swap out the base Supra amp with a 10 dsp Match UP amplifier. Maybe that helps figure out what you're trying to do. Sounds so much better.
