According to many sources, these vehicles never really shut off.
Being this is not my daily driver, would a battery disconnect switch be a better plan than a battery maintainer?
This could easily sit for several days between operations.
Thanx!

For me, I always use battery tenders on my hobby cars if parked for more than a couple of days, including my Supra.

I frown at unplugging the battery as it can lead to weird problems with the electronics. Only time I unplugged the Supra was when I removed the airbag to install my 3D Design paddles.

Several days? Zero worries unless something aftermarket is parasitic. These cars can sit a month+ with no issues.

The first year I had my Supra it sat for four months over the winter with no tender and it started right up.
