Best 60mph to Beyond method?

I feel like there is a sweet spot with the Supra when it comes to doing any roll runs, 60mph +
In manual mode 3rd gear @ 60mph without brake boosting the car feels pretty slow. Because of the size of the turbo I guess you need to be in a much lower rpm range? It actually feels faster if you just nail the pedal down in auto mode. Or only option is to brake boost?

The best way is to figure out where your power band is on your turbo. Anything higher you're just blowing hot air anything lower you're lugging the engine. In auto, the computer tries to stay within your power band.
