Hey guys,

After the last track day I went to I decided I wanna get some semi slicks (looking at pilot sport 2 right now). But before that i wanna get some new rims to go with the tires cuz I don't wanna drive with semis every day.

Point is I'm looking for rims that won't cost a fortune but are definitely able to handle track use. I know there are "Konig" and "Advanti Racing" rims available near me for not too much but I've never heard of them before so I wanted to ask you guys before I go through with buying them.

Apex

Edit: I've also used TItan7, TE37 SL, and Advan GT on the Supra and wish I had just bought forged Apex wheels. Quality seems as good or better than others, lighter, seem strong, best fitment (11" wide in 18s and 19s), and better looking than anything besides Advan.

TSW Imatra are cheap 18x10.5 wheels that work well. Besides that, Enkei GTC02 18x10.5, APEX and others mentioned above.

Konig also makes an 18x11 that has been working well for people. Konig Hypergram.

Iā€™ve checked over my TSW Imatra after every track day this year and after every tire mounting. They have been fine so far. Canā€™t ask for a better deal at $700 shipped for all four.

Define budget. I wouldn't put budget track wheels on a performance track car.

Spend a little more for forged wheels. Stronger and lighter. Titan7 is our best seller for that.

I run the apex 18ā€ sm10 wheel 18x10. These fit 275/35/18 tires for a square set up and also use the apex stud kit. Rims are a little over $400 each direct from apex. I have two sets now and they have held up well. So something to consider. They have a lot of clearance and fit big brake kits as well as I also have a 6 piston front and 4 piston rear caliper/ 15ā€ rotors all the way around and everything fits with no spacers etc.

+1 on the TSW Imatra / TSW Kimora *

* Make sure you've got a little sidewall if you're going to use these. Personal experience with these bending lips with track usage with 285/30/18s...but with a little more sidewall - 275/35/18, mine are still straight and true.

These err on the affordable side of affordable.

If that was me, I would run my stock wheels for track and then get even nicer wheels for my next car cause I will crash.

Apex.

I've been using them on BMWs for years and now on my Supra.
The quality to price ratio is fantastic.

This. Unless you got money to burn them I'd go Titan.
