bm3 feels slower with e40 vs 93 tune OTS ..anyone else?

Yeah when you run Multi Map and you have the BM3 Flex Fuel Kit .. it will adjust all the way to E50 , nothing to do as far as picking a map.. I just put 91 and now have a reading of E28 it already feels better.. I thought I was recording the runs.. but did not log ill go tomorrow and try multi map and tune pur e30 tune and see what's up

Well, just did some logs with 27 ethanol feels much better… I think that’s the sweet spot for this car in this heat

Not familiar with BM3 as I have MHD, but you are in map slot 3 with e40 and 91 was map slot one. If your running flex fuel I would assume it should be the same map slot?

Def happier with that boost level, which makes more sense with the stock turbo.

Custom tune you could run E40 with that boost level and more timing and make more power.

Custom tune .. I am on the fence with getting a turbo running E30 for 600whp without all the heat from the stock turbos .. I feel like for 3k ish I can get that and do a clutch for 1k and car would be perfectly balanced

I tune but I don't want this to be a sales pitch (even though I don't charge anymore since retiring)

For others, Sameh is good but hard to get ahold of. Zach at CSG I have heard good things about.

I think I will wait for the tune setup.. ill run this setup until next summer.. car only has 700 miles..ill enjoy her until she get boring on e30

stage 3 turbo on e30 making 600-650 whP should be a nice 132-135 mph car ..

60-130 would be nice in low 6s

my Plaid did 4.4. so not looking for that...just something a little more punch

I ran BM3 stage 2 93 and then stage 2 e30 (I think) in a friend’s car in back to back sessions at a Gridlife event and the e30 map subjectively felt way faster. Objectively we were close to 1 second per lap quicker in worse track conditions on e30 which is a huge improvement.

Yeah the e30 is perfect for stock turbo right now on my car and outside temps
