BMW connection to original Toyota 2000GT

WhIle scavenging for supra articles I found this one which is decent enough but in the end it lays out that it was a former BMW executive (who developed the legendary 507) who brought Yamaha and an mature project to Toyota when Nissan killed it. If the 2000GT is the grandfather of the Supra and the father of Toyota inline 6s, it’s in interesting connection that I thought I would share.
