Hello all,
I've seen a couple threads on here about brake squeaking but nothing similar to the whine resonance that I am experiencing. It seems as though once warm, the front end will develop a whining resonance while cruising at highway speeds with the wheel slightly turned. The noise goes away once light braking is applied or the wheel is slightly turned. It also happens at low/traffic speed without any braking applied with the wheel at a slight angle. It is a whining noise with a much deeper pitch than the typical brake squeal. It starts faint and gets louder if no inputs are changed. The vibration from the resonance can be felt slightly in the wheel as well.
I've heard about the road noise issue especially after suspension modifications however, I believe the noise is central to the front brakes (maybe just front passenger) as it goes away with slight braking. Also, suspension and brakes are stock.
Has anyone experienced this or have any information?
Thank you.
