Wanted to put my car here just to document it's journey. I have gone through way to many cars, but I am hoping this is my cure for a while.

Some of the cars I have owned in the past include:
  • Mitsubishi Conquest
  • 350z
  • MK4 Supra TT (Auto and 6 Speed). I still have the Auto back at my dad's in Virginia. Will probably bring it over to the Bay area at some point.
  • E46 M3s (Imola/Imola, LSB/Grey)
  • 2x 1M Coupes
  • AP2 S2000
  • ND2 MX5
  • 987.2 CS
  • 981 GTS
  • 993 911
This is my first auto car since the old Supra. I'll probably miss the manual at some point, but then I'll pick up a used ND2 MX5 when prices aren't stupid.

I considered a bunch of cars for my weekend/track toy that included:
S2000s, ND2 MX5s, Caymans, M3s but at the end of the day, test driving this car put the biggest smile on my face. I also wanted to get back to the Supra as the MK4 was my first "Dream" car. I also really wanted a blue car, but for some reason, couldn't really find myself into any.

Thanks to PEEFREE for helping me find this one nearby at a reasonable rate. Anyways here she is 100% stock. I'll probably keep it that way for a little, get used to it in stock form, then start the moddin. Looking forward to be back in the Supra and Bay Area supra community.

ND Miata to A91 Refraction seems to be a common theme here haha

ND2 was a lot of fun and was a strong contender, but IMO I do kind of think it was a bit much to spend $30-$35k depending on options etc....and I'd rather buy a Supra new now and know what is done to it and get a used ND2 MX5 later when prices go down as a fun slow car fast car.

I might pick up an ND2 once again later on. I'm a big Mazda fan (mainly rotaries) but the ND did open my eyes to the world of miatas and what i've been missing. Honestly, i miss the miata, having a convertible for the first time and enjoying driving that around with its great handling and awesome shifter makes me want to come back to it. I would like to enjoy the ND2 some time especially with those recaro seats though i'm hoping that BBR does update their turbo kit for the ND2 or i may just stick with finding an ND1.

Yep I agree! - in a few years when ND2s clubs can be had for 20k I will probably look to add it to the collection. I don't need the BBR turbo as the Supra is my turbo machine. I'd want the ND2 for simple, top down NA fun and think a Supra in Auto + ND2 manual is a great combo. I'd be looking more to tighten that suspension up and remove that body roll - it was insane and really (for me) detracted from the experience. At $20k I am in. At $30k+ was a bit more hesitent.

I may revisit the ND Miata again in the future. Such a fun car to drive! Here's a pic of mine:

Too funny! I initially wanted a white Supra but decided to change it up this time around. The Refraction Blue is stunning on this car!

Yep I was there on the MK4 supraforums! I still remember that silver TRD MK4 rebuild (can't find the link) but that guy refreshed everything. Wonder what happened to that car.
