I had the same question about the strut bar and e-mail Burger and they sent me this photo. Ordered mine yesterday.
Congrats!

And now we see the vacuum line for the BOV runs towards the firewall, which tacitly confirms my theory they're tapping the brake booster line as a vac reference. It's one of the few places on the car that actually does that function.

Is this vacuum source any better then using the Vargas vacuum adapter?

Would this make fuel trims run richer just like almost all aftermarket blow off valves?

Until proven otherwise, I'm going to assume this uses the BMS N54 vacuum adapter (or something like it) to provide a vacuum reference.

I believe it sits on the engine block end of the brake booster hose. The hose runs from an air valve that plugs into the block up to the master cylinder on the driver side firewall. Brake boosters explicitly require vacuum to function, and so do BOVs, so tapping this as a reference is a good idea. Because the air valve is, well, a valve, it's going to open and close with boost as-required by the master cylinder.

Then you just run a hose from the adapter to the BOV. No wiring needed.

But you'd need to get to the underside of the car, down low on the block, to install the adapter. So, jackstands required or whatever.

Looks like Burger, might not be using brake booster hose for vacuum.

I clicked this link from the Burger Motorsports Supra Blow Valve Product Page for install instructions:

Does that provide good enough vacuum unlike where the VTT is sourcing vacuum?
