Dear all.

I always use CAE shifter in all my cars and I had to install one on the Supra because OEM shifter was very underwhelming on track.

I bought CAE shifter for G8X M2/M3/M4 platform and fitted it.
It's a drop in fit.
Just need to make additional holes on the shifter baseplate as the transmission tunnel has a wider shifter space.

Installed pic attached.
It finally completes the feel of the car.
The OEM clutch is also too smooth for track use for my liking... so Clutchmaster FX1000 w Throw out bearing and CAE shifter really makes redline shifting at track more fast, direct and exciting.

How much shorter is the clutch throw with the hydraulic throw out bearing?

thanks for sharing! if it's anything like the CAE shifter in my buddies' fk8 and boxster it feels great, better than acquity in my opinion. if only it wasn't so intrusive that thing sits super tall in comparison to the size of the interior. hoping for a shorter height shifter length in the future.

Height is perfect feel wise.
For track car you want it to be higher and close to wheel

Thank you for Sharing, looks amazing. Will you cover this or you will just leave it like this photo when driving?
Everything has been put back together to be covered. Wireless charging and USB ports are still working.

I left the shift boot out as I like to see the shifter exposed.

RIght, thats what i mean. my track car has the knob high up too. my supra is a street build.
I'm seeing a lower height setup for the e46 on their website, maybe i can use some of its parts

Would you mind sharing then installation instructions including the drilling?
