We just ordered a new GR and trying to get orchestrated here.
I know the GR has jacking points,
But
Can it just go on a normal scissor lift being raised on the outside of frame, on both sides?
located between front and rear tires?
The front and rear wheels will hang .
This is how I have done many cars (hundreds) and never a problem.
But I have to ask

There's jacking points infront of all 4 wheels that are more or less in the same place where you'd find the frame rail jacking points on other cars. Just get a couple of cheap jack pads to slot in to the jacking points so you don't destroy the plastic ones, and you can raise it on a scissor lift just fine

I have the spare tire set from ModernSpare. It includes a scissors jack with the proper platform that fits the factory jack points.

I usually use a hydraulic jack though with BMS adapter.

I am hoping that I can just drive onto this lift and hit the switch and up it will go.
It has worked for Porsche, Corvairs, Dodge Chevy, Ford etc etc etc
I don't k now what could be that much different.??
But I thought I would ask.
I guess I will have to inspect the bottom of the car carefully, and see for myself.
With the weight spread out and not point-loaded, each ramp , (about 16 inches wide by about 5 feet long) I will hope those will work.
But maybe they have some protrusions sticking dwn>?
The lift looks a lot like this

I think it depends on what you’re trying to do. It is perfect if you’re planning to lift something like equipment or materials. They’re super stable and give you an excellent flat platform from which to work, which is great for high tasks. But you want to check the weight limit and ensure your lifting fits within those guidelines. Also, if you're working indoors, ensure the lift can fit through doorways or tight spaces. It’s always a good idea to read the manual and follow safety guidelines to avoid mishaps. Overall, a scissor lift can be a real lifesaver if used correctly. If you want to know more, check out this info on using a scissor lift.
