Nice, congrats!

I would be very curious to see how many Supra's came to Canada for the 2023MY and what the split was for AT vs MT. In the US I believe there were 2828 cars produced and 1216 of them were MT's.

Just snatched a brand new 2023 3.0AT Stratosphere with 50kms on the clock from Jim Pattison Downtown Vancouver for 5k off MSRP! Delaying delivery to trailer it straight to PPF shop for full car protection, weather has been rough in Vancouver lately

EDIT: They also have a GR Corolla in stock for MSRP if anyone is looking, great guys and they claim they never mark up on anything.
This is the MT thread. Lots of dealers are doing discounts on AT.

@Rustyoid is there any 2024 coming for dealers in Ontario? I am trying to hunt down either a Nitro Yellow 2023 AT/MT or a 2024 MT in white or CU Later. Thanks!!
I think if you are interested in a '24 this early you should try putting an order in with a dealer since they should still be a few months out. The advice I got was to find one that doesn't ask you to put money down till it arrives.

What do you mean? 23s have been done for months. Shipping of 24s started in the fall. If anything you'd be lucky to get a MT 24 by summer before they switch you over to a 25.

Odd. I was playing with the build & price today and it seemed like you could still place an order for a '23/A91

To put ordering timelines into perspective for you, most folks that wanted just a regular MT end up waiting 8-12+ months. For an A91-MT you need a sprinkling of luck to go along with those timelines.

We might have a live play-by-play, start to finish episode coming up.... I contacted the BC dealer where I purchased my 2021 and asked if they have anything incoming, nothing in the pipe yet. They asked if I would like to place a deposit which I am considering, but I need to make a couple things happen first. One, I need to drive a manual version so I know that's what I want for the next few years. Two, I am definitely trying to line up purchasing for the last model year, so thinking that could be 2025? I don't see much change forecast between 2024/2025 except maybe a couple colours. I'm not really into the special editions as I haven't loved the colours on those, so maybe I just sign up for the next one available and see what comes my way.

Toyota doesn't take orders. It's a request and dealers wait for allocations that match. 2023 production have been done for a while. I highly doubt there are that many if any 2023 at ports. If 2024 45 anniversary are already in the hands of owners or soon will be. They wouldn't be producing more 2023.

assuming that 500 of those 1216 MT cars are A91-MT’s that would leave 716 “normal” MT Cars.
Canada received 50 A91-MT so taking the same number that means there was 121 (give or take) manual cars including 50 A91 MT leaving us with 71 “normal” MT cars.

Yah that''s probably pretty close, if accurate that makes the regular, vanilla MT almost as rare as the "special edition" :D

Wow, I'm surprised that there's no protective covering on those at all...

Is there any official records yet of production numbers by model/trim/type/color?

Wait so its always talked about theres a long wait for manuals since thats the new “hot thing everybody wants” but what about if you want an automatic now you have better chances of receiving a car the color you want earlier from the dealership than manuals or the wait time is the same regardless ?
