Car Alarm - Recommendations

Hi,
My car didn’t come with an alarm like usual car purchases from other companies, the excuse was our contractors for new car purchases only work on Toyota cars and since this is BMW, the are unfamiliar with the layout. Just left it alone and left a bad review on yelp for that. What are some alarms people are using that won’t cause a need for a separate remote, would like to just keep it to one?

Our cars have an alarm system built in. Do some US variants not come with an alarm?

Should have built in sensor alarm. Leave your window down, lock the car for 6 minutes. If you put your arms through window from outside car alarm should do off. I learned this from hard wiring the dash cam/radar.
