I have a European 2023 MK5.
When going on a road trips I often had the issue that people started touching the car when it was parked. I wished that there was a way to remotely trigger an alarm. I found out that the US cars do have the panic alarm on the 4th button from the factory.
The EU cars do not have the panic button coded. It just enables the coming home lights.

After a bit of searching, I found a coding option that worked for me to enable the 4th button as the panic alarm:
"In Body Domain Controller in advance mode just search on "panic" and code all the results to active. Do the same in Roof Function Center.
Second, search for 'button' and select "RC default idg 4th button long' and code this to Werte 03."
For coding, I had to select the G29 with Bimmercode. Otherwise, BDC is not available.

The coding did allow me to have the panic alarm on button 4. My issue is that the clown horn gives the alarm and not the siren from the alarm.

Does anybody know how to get the siren to work and not the clown's horn??

If there's no other solution, just add a proper BMW low tone horn to the ridiculous high tone one.. that'll likely have the desired effect.

That was my plan b.
I have to source the harness from a Mini to make it plug & play. Don't want to cut into the wiring harness.
