Cell signal booster

New user and I couldn't find answer in search. Owner's 2021 manual says to register the signal booster with cell provider, but the provider needs MAC ID and serial number beyond model ID and FCC ID. Where is the device, so I can get that info?

Best I can tell it's behind the interior panels in the drivers side part of the trunk, however I have yet to be able to access it. I don't intend to tear things apart. My dealer doesn't have any idea how to get it. I consider this a best-effort kind of thing, because registration is not the same as activation. The device doesn't need to be activated, registration is really just a regulatory technicality. I think someone could be seen as making a good faith effort to comply if they were to simply enter their VIN as the MAC. YMMV
