As the title says, is there anyone who is running any Rays Engineering Center Caps on there TE37’s? I want to see what kind of center caps everyone has on their TE37’s on their GR Supra.

A buddy of mine is looking for them and I’m helping him out. Thanks,

Afaik for any rays caps, you need an adapter since the SL isn't really meant for a cap (something about weight savings and racing...) and, assuming your friend has the standard te37 fitment, the adapter will hit the rear hub long before it is all the way into the wheel.

There is another thread about this somewhere - you might wanna see if you can find it as it's pretty old.

This is actually the reason I got rid of my SLs.

You should also help your friend out by telling him how god awful this wing looks and convince him to remove it.

That's what a real friend would do...

Sure thing I will dig up the old thread messages in the forum about it.

Yes my friend did bought this set back in 2021. He did mentioned about the adapter as well, however I haven’t heard about an “adapter holding the center caps for the wheel”. So I believe the adapter is a separate piece from the center caps? To be honest I don’t know because my experience with buying JDM wheels the center cap just pops in and out from the rim lol. I didn’t know that TE37’s has this on the GR Supra.

I hope Rays Engineering does not make it this hard for the GR Supra’s…

Thanks again

It's the variant of TE37 - I think the TE37 SL has some extra material machined out of the bore or something to save weight so the center caps for other Rays wheels just don't fit.

Back when I got my hands on the adapters, they looked like this:

The adapter fits into the wheel using a rubber o-ring to hold it in and then the center cap goes into the adapter. Just google around for TE37 SL adapter and you'll find a bunch. For the wheels I had, they worked fine on the fronts but the adapters would not fit into the rears as they would hit the hub. You can just google around for TE37 SL center cap adapters and there are a bunch of sites selling them - but again - beware that they're probably not going to work.

Not sure why he/she wants an elegant finish on just the center caps when the rest of the car looks wild rice.. Just go capless.

Not TE’s, but rays G025 LTD, and the beauty, since I bought them in Japan, mine came with center caps free, which crazy enough run $100 otherwise.

you can’t see it here, but they are 3D and look pretty nice with their hologram effect. Mine are coated and wrapped to protect them.

If Volks Racing doesn’t offer center caps. Then it is what it is… He likes the “Aimgain aerokit”. I have no say to it. Everyone has their own personality taste to their cars…
