Took about six weeks, and once again cruising down a flat interstate... I get the error. Two autocross events... no issue. Just driving to work, and this damned error message pops.

Ride hight sensor brackets are fine. I think I'm going to replace the actual sensors, and see if that solves the problem. Just sucks as I have my first track day this weekend and I really don't want challenges apart from the driving.

I get that like once or twice a year, in the same way. On the hwy, mostly in traffic. Other than that, no issues.

Don't waste money blindly replacing both sensors. The code will tell you exactly which one it is.

Here’s something to try. Flip the sensors. I got new wheels and my installer did that after I told him I was getting a chassis error.

I have KW EDC Cancellers with bags and have been getting this on my commute home almost every day for the last month 🥲

New sensors going in on Friday morning.

The code that keeps popping up is front sensor plausibility. I’ll do that one first and give it a go.

Any idea what flipping it does? I saw a video where they did that and it cleared the error.

Seems just like something that doesn’t trip the sensor if you’re lowered from the sounds of it.

As my installer said, “just bmw things.” And it worked (so far at least).

F' me! It's back. Exactly 30 days since the front ride height sensor replacement. Not during my track day. Not during my road trip to and from the track. No... sitting in bumper to bumper traffic, on the flat damned interstate! Sitting. Not even moving. As in FULLY F`ing stopped! And guess what pops? That damned chassis code. This car is starting to piss me off!

I’ve been having the same warning. Im on ohlins coilovers with rsr cancelors. Bimmerlink says it’s an issue with my left front wheel acceleration sensor. I’m sure it has to do with the rsr cancelors. Instead of buying new sensors, I’m just going to have someone code out the error since it has to do with the edc.

Did you check if it was the same corner that set off the code? I had mine go off again after driving back from an alignment but I just ignored it. It rarely happens so I think I’ll live with it till a real solution comes along.

I'm also experiencing random chassis codes from front left ride height sensor, even with everything in great shape + cancellers. Very intermittent. It happens much more frequently now that the weather has started to get more temperate in Texas. Like, hasn't happened in months and is now happening on almost every drive. Typically while just cruising at modest speeds.

Only two sensors, front left corner and rear left corner. Both drivers side in NA.

ISTA has a calibration section for the ride height sensors. Might be worth trying that since you are lowered.
