Hey guys,

As the title states, while driving today I noticed that my oil temp would be at a normal operating temperature and then it would decrease to the first or second bar. The check engine light then appeared on the dash. I checked the codes and it appears to be 20F210. The car is essentially stock, just an exhaust. I’ll be scheduling an appt. with dealer/shop, just wanted to know if you guys had any additional insight.

Thanks!

How many miles on the car? Check your Heat module valve.

Just hit 50k miles. And I haven’t checked the actual valve yet but after looking a little bit into it appears it may be a thermostat issue? I am now getting a 20F20F (HMM stuck closed) plus the initial 20F210 (HMM stuck open) code simultaneously.

Thermostat is part of that module unit. Sounds like it may be sticking if you’re getting a stuck open and closed message if I had to guess. See if it’s leaking.

Quick update. Took it to the dealer where they confirmed it was getting stuck open. A new Heat Management Module is on the way. Was quoted around $2k.

Could try doing it yourself if you’re interested. Not a bad time for a upgraded manifold too if you ever plan on upgrading šŸ˜‰
