Anybody driven their cars to the more Western parts of Washington? Thinking about maybe taking a trip to the Port Angeles area this weekend and was wondering what the roads are like and whether these cars might be a bit flashy out there.

Went out there last year in March or April. Roads are pretty good up near Port Moresby and Poulsbo. I went up early and had basically no traffic or cops (left Seattle around 7:30-8, and was there by 10). Conditions will likely be wet and chilly though, so keep that in mind.

I definitely recommend Paradise Bay Road into Oak Bay Road after you cross the Hood Canal Bridge if you take Rt 3 onto Rt 104.

@WSUPRA should know more roads up there as well.

Nice! Yeah thankfully on all-seasons now. Did you ever take the ferry at any point? Worried about ground clearance but I have seen a GT4 get off one before.

I have not. But the best roads do appear to be north of Bremerton. Less traffic and more winding.

Did not know this was even a thing as a kit, pretty neat. I like how the scissor jack has the pad built right in, wonder if it fits with lowered cars.
Not sure about lowered cars, mine is at stock height. When I did a test fit of the jack, it seemed to have quite a bit of clearance at the lowest setting to get under the jack point. I'll measure it when I get a chance.

No worries for lowered cars. I put a small piece of a 2x6 in my kit. Just roll over it with the flat and you will have plenty of clearance.

@tg_mkv let me know next time and you can borrow my kit.
