RyanA90,

The coilovers mentioned above are the only 2 options available from the aftermarket industry that are compatible with the factory EDC up to this date. I believe , with more time we might get more options from other companies.

Thanks for the input! I would love to keep the EDC to be able to control the firmness on the fly depending on my mood lol.

I am with you on the same boat. I would rather wait and see what new coil-overs come out that are plug & play other than the only two that are available at this time.

Like yourself, i would rather keep the EDC option working as intended with a superior aftermarket coil-over suspension than what comes on the vehicle from factory.
Especially that i do a few track events annually. Let's hope some companies introduce more P&P coil-over kits very soon.

Fortune Auto is working on an application for A90 I am told. No ETA available.

Right now those are the only ones that retain it

That is not correct, they aren't. They released their own EDC Canceller to go with their coilovers. I was just coincidentally speaking with them and confirmed it also

I have the KW DDC and will be replacing them with Ohlins soon. They are WAY soft.
On the note above, Fortune Auto is a great choice too (Ohlins is great) because you can customize spring rates and they have the 500 daily series, and 510 for track (but can definitely be used for daily if you're willing to adjust the dampening more often)

The KWs are the only ones I was personally aware of. Curious to see what else is out there as well!

Was on the fence about the same thing but i just went w the v3s.
If electronic dampers are a must, just use the factory suspension and get springs imo.
Wasnt a fan of having to use an external controller to adjust the DDC settings. Dont think it hooked up to sport / normal mode, unless i overlooked that detail.

KW DDC coilovers plug into the OEM EDC plug, there is no external controller. You use the OEM controller.

The only ones we really do are KW DDC and RSR Best-I. Got them in stock.

Anybody running the kw, are they atleast noticeably stiffer than stock suspension? All the guys who complained they were soft were the typical “hardcore” extremist with no mention of improvement over stock at all
