Ran the Omega65 on my Supra through 3 phases (stock DI → upgraded DI → PI w/ built trans). Daily driveable in all setups, and always a joy. Logged a 100–200 in 5.0s flat in 36°C / 3000+ DA. I only run one flex fuel map at 34–35 psi. Most of the time I’m just cruising in 8th, but when I need it the power comes on quick and I’ve had zero issues handing out gaps.
I did run into some issues with the quality of a few supplied parts/fittings, but each batch of kits has gotten better in that area. As for the common wastegate complaint, yeah, dialing it in is a pain, but once sorted it works fine (at least in my case). With proper supporting mods and a good tune, the Omega65 (or P900) is more than enough for most people.
I’ve now moved to a Doc Racing PT6870 NG full frame. The idea is to hit the same power I’m at now with less boost, and have headroom for when/if I decide to build the motor. I don’t care much about spool since I drive pretty tame, and for my use case a full frame setup is more efficient and scalable long term.
If I had to do it again, I’d have gone full frame from the start.
