Dampening Control Alternatives

I am currently about to install my Fortune Auto 510's onto my car and was wondering if people had any experience with coding the dash light with a BMW coder. I don't mind paying the extra to purchase either the KW or RS-R EDC canceler but to save a couple hundred and less time of waiting I wouldn't mind going with the coding route.

Any thoughts and experience?
