Hey all! Apologies if this is the wrong section to post this but I wanted to see if anyone has ran into this issue as well...
Right after purchasing my 2020 Supra LE, I was told that I had to take it in for a couple of recalls - headlamp and the rear cam brightness settings. I was told by my dealer's service that the headlamp was an easy fix but they're running into an issue with applying the firmware update for the rear cam. I was told that the car "isn't taking" the file given to them by Toyota, the car is essentially declining the firmware. Has anyone ran into this same issue? It's been two weeks and I was told by my dealer that it is out of their hands and they are waiting on Toyota Motors for next steps. Until then, my car is not safe to drive because the safety features are also disabled from the previous attempt to update the firmware. Any thoughts? Your feedbacks would be appreciated - thanks!
