Getting the update done today. 45 minutes I was told. Dealer checked to make sure they had what was needed to complete the update. They didn’t t even know there was an update needed

I had to leave it there. First one they were doing so was taking more time. Was told they would need it for the day. The download coming from Germany per the tech

I don't think every car is effected but it's safer to do it than be sorry. I got mine done today for the heck of it. Took no longer than 45 min at least for me.

I added my car to the Toyota owners link app. That’s where I saw my vin was included in the recall
