For anyone who stumbles on this thread looking for a solution, I unintentionally fixed mine by having the battery disconnected while I was working on the car. I would say try disconnecting the negative terminal for 10-15m and see if that helps.
In mine the driver side would go down fully when using the auto switch, but the passenger would leave like 1.5cm showing until you hit the switch again. Hasn't been a problem since, so fingers crossed it doesnt come back...
