does my ECU need to be unlocked again for BM3?

Hello, i currently have a 2021 with a local tune. However, i want to move onto BM3. The question is, Do i have to get my ecu unlocked again for BM3? i looked at ECUTEK but my friend's tuner said i still need to get bench unlocked for ECUTEK and was wondering if BM3 needs something similar? Or can I just load up BM3 and overwrite my current tune flash with an OTS BM3? Thanks

are you saying you already have a tune loaded using BM3? If that is the case, then you should not need another unlock. But if BM3 was used to tune your car the first time you should have created a BM3 account to update or make changes or upload another tune.

I have a tune loaded but not by bm3.
