What are you scanning with? I use a metrascan at work for our scan stuff but that’s a pretty good quality scan for something on your kitchen island. Do you design in solidworks?

i picked up a RevoScan Pop2, runs through my iPhone. That was a single scan, took maybe 4 mins to scan and process on my phone and sent it to my engineer bestie to work it in solidworks

I'm self taught on nx9 and self teaching solid works as I have time and energy. I can do the basics but what would take me a week takes my homie a few minutes

Boxes, stickers, strap material, and bolts all rolling in. I should be getting my faceplate tomorrow also to check final fitment and I'll hopefully assemble a production quality example by Wednesday if everything arrives on time.

Still 2 pre-order slots left. Then the price bumps up to $399 and a small fee for customizing your strap color.

Received the sample faceplate, making some adjustments to make an even cleaner fitment.

Strap material will be rolling over the next two weeks.

Hardware samples arriving this week.

First delivery of the OE handle cartridges will be next week and I'll start modifying them.

Working my butt off to put these together, I ordered some swag to add to the packages.

So the door handle cartridges are going to be the slow part of this from Toyota. I'm working on some 3D printed solutions as well but I won't settle for below OE quality.

Strap material should start showing up next week.

The slow part will be these OE handles as Toyota will only send me 1 set at a time and are saying it's a "low-inventory" item without releasing on-hand quantities in the US. To be the master of my own supply chain, I'll be 3D scanning the OE handle and building my own part to 3D print. I won't settle for anything less than OE quality for fitment and durability. Any parts I revise will be sent out to the pre-order group free of cost to you.

I am already getting to work on modifying the OE handle cartridge that I have here and I will fill orders as materials come in.

I will be bringing some to Supras In Vegas to show off if anyone will be there.
