Nice! Thanks for the replies guys! Yes I already have exhaust, lower springs and MHD with OTS tune, so the car is really quick and sounds great, and that is already a big upgrade from stock.
Next are the 200TW slightly wider tires and the swaybar. Possibly also the bushings as I had most replaced on the FD RX7 and it made it feel better (read more raw/less soft) definitely.
In the near future I definitely want to go bigger turbo and get around the 550 WHP mark.
All that definitely will make a big impact on how it feels, especially for what you guys are mentioning here.

When you change the tires over you might want to consider going to an 18" squared setup. I'm not sure if that will add to the goal but that is what a few of the track guys switch to. I am not one of them though but a few of the really knowledgable folks can chime in and help decide if that will help.

For the cost of chasing that feeling I would probably leave the Supra alone and buy a BRZ, gut it, and make that the car to run at ten tenths. However, I'm not a high horsepower guy, so I don't need to be able to drive on the edge with all that power. Being on the edge with less is fine by me, easier for us less experienced folks. I still like to be able to take a breath when the car is at the limit, I don't have the skills quite yet to do that in the Supra!

Expirence that I can remember....
2019 Audi R8 v10 performance package Second or maybe first best handling. Handles like a GTI but on steroids. Never found the limit but I was afraid to...$250k was something I could never afford.
2018 Porsche Carrera 4 S Turbo 600whp probably first best. Connected to the road and luxury. Best GT of them all.
2016 ACR Viper damn good but scary. number 3
2016 Viper built 1600whp. death....at every corner or 3rd or 4th gear throttle hit
2024 Supra MT stock but with intake/exhaust very close to ACR but I can actually push it to the limit and not feel like I'm going to die.
1998 single turbo supra....800whp well I loved that car but doesn't handle that great...just was a highway queen
1995 single turbo supra...794whp.... Not good...but pulls like a freight train
1965 Chevelle with all the chassis boxing and bars I can get....it will keep up but I feel like I'm on the edge and the locker scares me. Probably bottom of my list
2019 Corvette Grand Sport...damn good car. Right with the 2024 supra. The Supra is better but with more seat time...I think I can make this faster.
2023 GR Corolla...love it. A bunch of fun and probably the best handling car for 40k or less but the 24 Supra still gets it
2023 GTI...best hatch in FWD car you can get but the Corolla wins in the corners
2007 GTI with all the bolt on goodies. One of my favorite cars where I learned how to carry speed through corners
2012 Audi A3 TDI Stage 2 tune. Stage 1 dampers and rear sway bar. fun little daily driver And fast corner carrying speed. Probably same as 07 GTI.

2018 BMW X3 M40i....best handling SUV that I have driven in stock form but the tale wags when pushed to the limit...wait...I forgot this was a 4500lb SUV.
04 Touareg and Cheyenne...good for SUVs but the BMW takes the cake
2023 Challenger SRT 6-speed. Light on the toes and likes to push through corners but great grand touring
2023 Challenger SRT 8-Speed auto with chassis bracing...better handling then the manual and more connected but still a great road car and feedback is good in the driver's seat for a modern car...just doesn't handle how you want it to.
Rx-7s from different generations...their okay but I barely fit and never could feel comfortable at the limit but not enough time to get a real gauge.
Mitsubishi Evo8 530whp.... very connected...very light...still not a mk5 supra....I'll take the GR Corolla or GTI over this car for handling.

Talons and eclipses couple of them.....lame cheesey cars. Why evos were actually cool
WRX from many generations....push through corners...not really good but great on gravel and snow.... amazing on snow.

That's all I can remember for the moment. Those are all my cars that I have driven and owned or have had enough experience in to have feedback on. I will tell you that the Supra is by far the best car for the money in the handling department. It's the reason why I bought one. The only car I would consider over the Supra for handling that I might be able to afford would be one of the newer Porches but it takes a lot more money to get to the next level. The C7 Corvette is a close contender but needs more power to outclass the Supra. The rest of the cars that handle better, are at a way higher price point. You can own a couple Supras for thee same cost. Have a track weapon and a stock one.... I am upgrading my Supra for Next year's Hillclimb in WV. I'm focusing strictly on chassis bracing and bushings for best feel. I'm also going to be adding a front splitter and rear wing to help with downforce but I'm running the stock suspension because of the bumps and upsets throughout the state highways that we race on. This is just my two cents but this is why we talk about cars because it's fun

Funny what you mention about the R8. I have driven a couple and I think they handle horrible for what they are. The lambo it's based on, even more so.

10000% disagree on a GTI handling better than a CT9A Evo. ESPECIALLY anything under the MK7 Golf.

Challengers are absolute land yachts.

By the way, good coilovers like MCS will soak up bumps much better than stock suspension, even with much higher rates.

Mk8 GTI for clarity....I just felt I could push it harder through the turns then the 06 Evo. Evo would destroy the GTI in a straight line and overall race. It really just comes down to driver feedback and security when at the limit. I've been in Lambos but the R8 my friends brother has it pretty sweet. It pushes like a fwd car when driven "hard" in the corners but holds speed way better then most of the cars I've driven....I guess I will need more time in one to debate that fully. So I digress. The 65 Chevelle I still own and I'm ever trying to make it handle better. I will say though that it has the best feedback of all the cars I've driven strictly because the chassis does not move and it's 100% manual steering and braking. I did say it was the slowest on my list though... If I want to scare somebody, I take them for a ride in that and let the 800hp have it's way.lol
I would like to drive somebody's Supra with coilovers. The bumps are pretty severe in some roads. I run in normal mode dampers. I'll have to do my research.
Every time I get somebody to think that they can drive fast I tell them follow me. I take them on the back roads of West Virginia and no one can keep up with me yet.... except on the straights. (Supra or GR Corolla)

By the way I found out that by making the burbles only 0.1 sec and soft, makes the car so much more enjoyable, as I can drive it any way I want without having to care about those annoyingly loud burbles. And by having it at 0.1 sec, they do a single softer pop once in a while and not all the time, so it feels much more "normal"
But I would like to ask, I also used to like the induction sound of the Datsun 240Z for example (of course it was carbureted which makes a big difference) which made that throaty noise mainly when accelerating. But I dont like those very loud Psss noises when you release the gas like most of the aftermarket intakes do for the Supra. I have seen multiple videos but havent heard anything that doesnt sound kind of annoying when decelerating.
Which would be the aftermarket intake that will add some noise without being over the top?

Been driving an e46 M3 last 2 weeks
Modern cars are all too soft and GT oriented. Too much tech and loss of feel. Lotus and Porsche are the only ones that come close to matching a “driver’s” car these days.

2002- 333hp, 8k red line, 6 gears, factory pedal commander, adj shift aggression.
I need to put it away for winter, but it is ridiculously fun. These cars just have a raw- wind me out every shift- vibe that is lost forever I fear.

I came from a 2001 Honda S2000. The only nannie it had was ABS. Driving the Supra compared to the S2000 was like driving a video game. Even turning off all the traction control doesn't quite make it feel like what you're looking for.

I have to agree, the new modern sports cars have gotten so nice that I almost want to go back. Don't get me wrong, I love the Supra for what it is, but it isn't as fun as earning every inch of a corner in a BRZ/86 or Miata. Something about trying to get everything you can out of something small and underpowered, I think those days are gone in the "sports" car world. I debate weekly adding a BRZ/86 to the garage, or an 8th gen Civic Si as a daily. New cars have so much of everything; power, tech, comfort, it's almost like we need to buy the basic entry level sports cars to try and match that old feeling. Alas, so few now exist.

Agreed. My AP2 delivers a more of that fun and engaging experience. The car provides that raw, visceral feel, and the OEM shifter on the s2k is amazing. I still love my Supra because its like owning a wild untamed dragon that tries to kill you at any moment's notice.
