Saving up for a Femto Unlock and Tune.

Few more other mods coming but likely not in the near future.

Looking good! You've got a bunch of the same mods that are on my want list.

The hanger just before the y pipe does it sit loose or does it sit flush and tight together?

Great post. I have the same car no mods, yet. I am interested to see how many 2023 Strat blue mt cars get built by the end of the year.

I fell into this trap of wanting to get it over with and getting good deals. Figured spend now save later lol. Prices seem to be going up anyway.

Beautiful car!

What’s your opinion of the CDV delete? Worth while?
Before the delete, I felt 1-2 was weird but everything else was fine. Talked with a few other MT owners and they said the same thing. Thought it was me but was glad to know others had the same feeling.

After the delete the biggest difference I noticed was 1-2. Everything else was smooth before but it’s even smoother now. I would recommend it.

Yeah the biggest change from removing the CDV is getting rid of the weirdness in the 1-2 shift. It's been like that since the 90s in manual BMWs. I'm going be taking mine out this week.

I plan on getting rid of it soon. Did you by any chance notice a difference when launching the car from 1st?
The shop im getting it done at said the CDVs help mainly during take off from 1st, and are annoying the rest of the time.

I am curious if all this time, the easy launch from first was thanks to the CDV or just a really easy / well designed clutch bite point.

I've not done any hard driving yet as I'm still under 1200 miles and just getting everything in. For me the 1-2 improvement alone was worth it. I thought my timing was off. I've been driving manual for 15 years and I honestly thought I was messing up my shifts.

You can just pull the restrictor plate out of the slave. It's pretty easy.

Are you saving up for a new clutch as well, or do you have faith that the current one will handle a tune?
