Engine noise at idle?

Normal sound? The video makes it seem a lot louder than it is. First video is cold start second is after it’s warmed up. If for some reason they post out of order then the longer video is cold start, shorter is after it’s warmed up.

Sounds fairly normal to me. Just sounds like the fuel injectors. Do you have the engine cover on or off?

Probably cause the car play connected and jacked up the audio. The second video is just a lot more quiet. I thought it was normal, but I recently started modifying the car and I was just a little paranoid so thought I’d ask for opinions.

Car operates as expected. I didn’t know what noise the injectors made or how to differentiate it from other engine noise, it’s a learning experience for me. Thanks for the info.

Mine does same sound and it’s FE so I guess it’s normal ? Mine is stock 100%

It's not injector noise. Injector noise won't change with engine temp. It's piston noise. Until the engine gets to operating temp the piston clearances won't be optimal for quite a idle. The price you pay for modern slipper pistons and an alloy block. A cast iron block would be quieter when cold and warm as well. Seems to be normal noise for the B58.

The HPFP makes the most noise at cold start as it runs higher pressure until a certain temp.
