Exhaust Help!

I am looking at the AWE lineup of exhausts and I am having a hard time picking one. After watching tons of YT videos and IG videos, all three of them are starting to sound the same.. I am hoping to get some info on which AWE exhaust you have, your experience, drone, etc. I had the AWE track exhaust on my 2015 STi and it sounded great…but the drone was a bit much cruising on the highway. Not sure I want that amount of drone again.

I will mention, I am currently on the stock downpipe, and will probably keep it stock for a year or so. The plan is to then upgrade to the AA catted downpipe (I am not able to go catless where I am located).

From another thread basically asking the same question:

Sounds phenomenal both inside and out. For me, drone between 1800 and 2200 rpms under moderate throttle and on will try to make your head explode. It probably wouldn’t have been an issue if were younger, but I did switch it out for the touring pieces and glad I did. Still sounds wonderful and without the drone.

My advice, if you can money wise, get the track version to try first. Then get the touring conversion if you feel the drone is too much for you. That is one of the beauties of AWE’s system. Otherwise, I would say get the touring and don’t worry about it because they are damn near identical in sound.

I've read all the exhaust threads and the majority suggest going AWE resonated touring (in terms of an AWE exhaust). From what I've read AWE track is very loud, it doesn't come through how loud on videos, and you're likely going to get some drone similar to as you experienced with your STI if I had to bet.
