Factory exhaust condition?

I meant to post these pics a few weeks ago after the install. This cannot be the factory condition of the OEM exhaust right? I have been the sole owner of this car since 150 miles. I have never run over anything. Is this really the state of pipe bending with these cars? Its so pinched in places and some dents even make be think it was possibly damaged on the train or truck.

it was a random side discussion, but the number of design revisions and dependencies to make something on a car is very real.
