Hey guys, I would like to tune my 23 MT Supra with BM3, and from what I've read FEMTO is the only place unlocking the DME. Has anyone or any shop in the USA been able to crack the cheat code for 2021+ DME's ?

@PRwhitesupra - Solution is still in the "two weeks" phase. It's reminds me of when Dr Strange sent Loki into a portal and he fell in an infinite loop for thirty minutes, except this is a lot longer. A lot longer.

That 0w20 Supra oil is trash. It’s brown water. Your engine will implode if you continue using it. We need to be using thinker oil. I went straight to 75w90 Valvoline synthetic gear lube. It’s working great. Engine is noticeably smoother and more quiet. No issues at all in the 10 miles I’ve put on it since the change.

No U.S. substitution yet or maybe ever because the EPA would crack down on whoever unlocked the ECU here. The EPA is the reason Bosch and BMW in this case have the ECUs locked after the June 2020 date. It's all about emissions in this country and since the low emissions, EV, "clean energy" train has already left the station, the only workaround is Femto for an unlock with BM3.

I spoke to PTF about why they don't do this in the States, and they told me it takes years to break the code, and once it's released in the open, other companies will copy it within a month.

So it's not worth putting all the money, time, and research for other companies to copy it.

The ONE thing I miss about the Evo community was that tuning was open source, so it developed SUPER fast and ECU tuning ended up basically as good as most standalones, right down to flexfuel.
To be fair, it took three or four years to get there if I remember right. Before that, places like Vishnu tried keeping things under wraps, also.
