Parking on an sloped driveway does tend to exaggerate the gap.
Also, in CA, the seller is responsible for having the vehicle smogged, before the sale. The smog certification is good for a certain number of months.

Side question about the Personal Plate, how soon after ordering did you receive the plate? Also, car looks great, love the interior color with the exterior. If I didn't buy one already I'd buy yours. Good luck with the sale.
