Man, cheaper than a piggyback tune. If I was in the market for it, I would consider it.

If I wasn't stuck overseas I'd snatch it up from you. I emailed PTF but they said I need access to my vehicle to complete the license transfer.

I think buying used for near half price is a good idea if you plan to keep the software for a while... things change and you never know when we may be saying "You know BM3 used to let you sell/transfer your license once upon a time...."

I didn't think you needed access the car?! I was under the impression that you need a VIN, create an acct, and download the software. Then Im able to make the license transfer. And after that when you tune you need access to the car. If I remember correctly the license transfer software only looks to see if you have what you need after its been removed from my car

Ahh ok, Gotcha.

Well that would have been cool, I thought the license was assigned and held in queue until flashed.

Being overseas I don't want to deal with the possibility of you getting this message

"the new user will need to verify their software compatibility before proceeding with the transfer. They will need to connect the car to the laptop and start the OBD Agent. Our servers will detect the vehicle's software, in which case you can try the license transfer again"

Can confirm, just went through this when selling mine. For some reason it took forever and a few tries of connecting to the car to get it to read the software, otherwise yeah you will get repeated not ready errors. GLWS, try the FB groups if you're in those. Mine sold same day I listed it.
