Just got my Supra back from the dealer and now my Apple Carplay is Fullscreen! :)

You guys can just have the dealer perform the recall and Carplay will be Fullscreen for FREE!
Dang is there any recall on 2.0s that will get me full screen carplay LOL.

Anyone ever loose CarPlay?

I just got back my 21' (3.5k miles) a couple days ago after the recall and oil change. Just as the video shows now no nav (just shows loading red screen), no connective services, and probably no apple car play if I had an iphone. Looks like another trip to the dealer...boo

Alright - so, I had the recalled done and have full screen apple carplay.

Am I the only one that thinks it looks like trash? It's all stretched out and aspect ratios aren't right. It's like the UI/UX team on wide screen car play just said, 'fuck it, ship it.'

The full screen view was only worth it when you hit the button below.

Still sucks in mixed media mode. Aspect ratios are still off.
It’s not as good as it could be. And could they have angled the screen towards the driver???? So much for BMW making driver centric cars.

lol any 2.0s have the widescreen option yet?
I sold my 2.0 over a year ago, but weirdly enough when I took it in for a recall I believe it was for some 12 volt battery, I believe they did a software update and it gave me full screen CarPlay. My 2020 3.0 has full screen CarPlay probably from a software update too
