I know a targa top would effect the structural ridgity of the body, but damn would I love one

Well I don’t know about that, the chassis is designed to be a convertible. I’m sure it would be less stiff but I don’t think it would be noticeable to anyone.

Rigid chassis
Decent weight distribution
Good looking exterior
Decent tyres

Cons:

Expensive (wrong market segment in non US countries)
BMW reliabilty concerns
No manual
lack of performance vs cost
Awful interior (was expecting something along the lines of the new corvette)
