Going catless

So I currently have a catted aftermarket down pipe and I am tuned as well but I’ve been wanting to go catless. If I were to would it mess up my tunes at all? or would I just simply get a check engine light? I’m not sure but I’d really like to know before I make a mistake?

High flow cats are barely a restriction on power. Why add the stench for such small gains?
