GPS voice says left instead of right?

On my 21 there's one odd issue where the gps voice prompts say "turn left" when the actual instruction should be "turn right." The screen(s) show the correct information, it's just the voice. It's only rights getting turned into lefts, not the other way around. Basically the gps lady is an anti-zoolander and can only turn left.

It doesn't happen every time, and other types of instructions are fine, like "bear right" and "prepre to turn right" are ok.

Anyone else experienced this? Is it something that may've been configured wrong, and I could edit myself? I'm a bit resistant to bring the car to the dealer because they've not been the most competant folks so far.

I've had the car for about a month with just under 2k miles on in and last week my navigation went way off the mark. It show me in the middle of a river and nowhere near my current location. This affects the speed limit indicator under the digital speedometer. I have no idea how to reset the location either. Guess another trip to the dealership for another issue on this brand new car.

It's not the car. It is the gps. I have a Garmin gps I use on several vehicles and it does the same thing. Only the gps manufacturer could fix it. Don't hold your breath on that. I just laugh about it now. I need to pay attention to see if my supra does the same.

Maybe it thinks you are in Australia and everything is upside down.

You've got the Nav system selected to the female voice. Change it to the Male voice and it will be fine.
