Hey Everyone.

I know we already have M Style Mirror caps but the problem is its just the cap and the shape of the mirrors never quite looked as good as the actual M Mirrors as they are the full assembly with the mirror trim surround.

A few months ago, I ordered the BMW M2 (Non-Competition)/ F3X Chassis M Mirror retrofit kit, which is the full mirror assembly. Our mirror glass fit perfectly. The only fitment issue is the lower trim is slightly different and main trim had different mounting points.

I've spoken with AXIS Japan who is a Japanese parts manufacturer and they manufacture parts for bigger companies like HKS and TOM's racing. They have agreed to make this unique part, however there is an initial mold cost and minimum order of 25 units and prices decrease at 50 units.

Currently we are looking at 900 USD per set at 25 Unit Group Buy or 700 USD per set at 50 unit Group Buy

I am hoping to start a group buy on this bespoke part.

I think the M mirror caps look like elf ears and are ugly. The Oem cf mirror caps looks so much better!!!

To be very honest, unless it has a WBS VIN, it shouldn't have these.

That being said, I get why folks do it.

Interested to see what the general consensus is for these.

I'll stick with my mirror caps. At least it's easily reversible if I'm tired of it. Better places to spend the money.

I have a knockoff of these mirror caps that I bought for like 80$

This price is insane. I don’t picture this happening tbh

This is intrigues me, but I don't know if I can justify spending this much on non OEM mirrors.

yeah I understand cost wise its high, and people rather spend their money on other mods. The M Mirrors just remind me so much of Ganador Mirrors.

Its just the initial Mold cost and volume per unit, if a A90 Parts seller like SpeedIndustry or alike were to order these from Axis im sure the cost would be much lower as they can do a bigger volume order.

In terms of reversibility, this is quite easy if you have disassembled the mirror, then mirror caps come off, some screws and clips for the bigger mirror trim surround then the bottom trim and replace with all of the new trim.

I forgot to take pics when I had the M2/F3X assembly and I had it mocked up on the car. It looks way better than just the mirror cap as it looks stuck on and incomplete.

I'm sorry, how is that different from putting Type R badges on your Civic Si
Or SS badges on your V6 Camaro
If you want an M badge, buy an M car

Love the initiative! But not a fan on Supra either.
The anti M style replies so far may be deterring prospective buyers though. Social pressure, huh.

Have people reach out to you via PM or make anonymous poll to gauge interest.
