Has anyone used the 'Valet' mode on the JB4?

Was going to drop my car off for some detail work and debating using the Valet mode. Any issues using it? I dont think for a second the detailer would take the car out for a spin, but if they do I want them to be really disappointed in the lack of power. I saw on the bimmer forums that some people saw a check engine light for low boost. Any other issues?

Stock power is disappointing enough, throw it in map 0 ?

Can’t imagine what you’ve driven to think the stock 3.0 is slow. Sorry mate
Eh stock wasn't THAT bad, but I was coming from a 330whp 2900lb GTI, so I guess my expectations were too high lol.

For a situation like that, I would lean towards a throttle controller, some have valet mode, let them putt around.

Yeah the stock 3.0 is a little dull I agree. However I’m used to my home built/tuned 450BHP Impreza sti :confused1:

Need to get a JB4 for now due to warranty and locked ecu!

You guys are weird. Before the Supra, I had car that was 430whp, 3150lbs, and AWD. The Supra is ridiculously fast for it's power rating. Also a torque monster.
Yes it’s fast car for what it is but after getting the run in mile complete and stomping on the peddle a bit more, I can’t help but feel a little underwhelmed. Don’t get me wrong it’s a stunning all round package as a car, but it just needs a little more to make it feel ā€˜special’ (fast!)

But then it would also cost a little more. I'm weird and due track days, so my opinion differs from others. I think the car is perfect.
