Well they do eventually go off, but after 5-10 min. Is there a way to make them go off as soon as the door is locked like all the rest of the interior lights? Is there a setting for this?

The easiest way is to hold the radio button in for a couple seconds to shut the cars electronics completely off.

No other default setting unfortunately.

Are you talking about them remaining illuminated?

What is the issue with them staying "on" for a couple minutes?

Nothing in particular, just always bugs me that I’m well and inside the house and the lights are still on. And with all these cars being so temperamental about batteries, especially BMWs, I just like to confirm things are off when they’re supposed to be off, visually
