How many manual RHD factory orange mk5s built

Hi All

Just wondering if anybody has production numbers of the RHD mk5 manual orange Supra. My car has no plaques on the dash and came with matt black rims, black calipers with a GR on them.

I am in SA.

I'd hate to break it to you, but orange was just a regular colour in most regions outside of the US. It was a no cost option here in Australia but having said that, I don't think the colour was all that popular. And as an aside, whoever decided to drop the yellow for this colour was probably sacked, lol.

Currently engaging Toyota SA to get confirmation. It seems that besides the special allocations I.e. the 100th and 45th special editions there are very few especially in manual RHD.

They didn’t get rid of the yellow. They figured out they had too much yellow and red paint left and not enough cars remaining to use it all. Therefore, orange was born. And to make sure they sell enough they told us Americans it was a “special edition.”
