How many people have done the Femto Unlock through the A90 shop?

I want a better tune on my 2021 supra and adjustable burbles. Currently jb4, catless DP, Charge pipe, intake. The A90 shop has a package where you get the femto partial unlock and a bm3 tune. my question is has anyone done this to their supra? if so how did it go? Thanks

I did mine through A90 shop. 10 day turn around. Very professional. I recommend giving them a call and asking for Josh. The price was reasonable for the DP, license, and the femto unlock.

Oh really I’ll definitely be wait then. I’m kinda slow what is ROM? Also where did you hear that bm3 was doing this. I thought the only way to do a real tune on my car was after a partial unlock.

They posted on their IG earlier that the same full software will be available for B58’s soon. They released the full custom rom for S58’s a couple months ago. It will allow u to use antilag, flex fuel, on the fly map switching, etc

just to clarify for OP, you will still need to do partial unlock with femto to get access to the bm3 custom rom.

It’s a partial unlock from Femto for MHD or BM3 u just don’t have access to custom rom or MHD+ which has some of those features. U have the OTS tunes and can get custom tuned still though.

I personally have MHD stage 2 93 OTS and for other days i have a custom E50 map by pureboost. MHD has fast flash times so it’s super easy to switch maps so i don’t care about flex fuel or the other can bus features personally.

When you switch maps on mhd do you just open the app in your phone and switch? or is it something you can do on the steering wheel buttons. Sorry for bothering you with a thousand questions, but on your mhd stage 2 map do you have the power to change your burbles? if so can I get a sound clip?

Nope car has to turn off, go into diagnostic mode, plug in wifi adapter and connect phone and reflash car to switch map. The flash takes about 5-10 seconds MHD is extremely fast and simple to change maps. There's a video on YouTube by thicwhips about MHD and how it works as well as him comparing to to BM3 which he also used very informative video. Basically MHD is more user friendly, has better OTS maps, and is faster to flash maps but if BM3 has custom rom coming soon then you can change maps on the fly via steering wheel which is nice.

I guess Ill wait a couple months see if BM3 drops their Custom from for the partial unlock ppl and if not got MHD. On your MHD OTS tune do you have adjustable burbles? If so I would love sounds clips of 6 port burbles.

Yeah I have adjustable burbles I turn them down a bit personally but with the sliders turned to max it sound like legit gunshots and echos for blocks it fun but gets old fast... also gets rid of catless CEL. If you plan on staying stock turbo and only want a 93 oct and E blend map no point to wait unless you really want the custom rom features but if you plan on doing extensive mods (flex fuel, upgraded turbo, port injection, etc) I would wait for custom rom in that case. But MHD is better if you want to just flash an OTS map and drive the thing.
