all jokes aside, as far as im aware you can use bm3, not ecutek. can you use full features of bm3? can i do map switches and full control of ethanel, etc etc?
Bm3's "CustomROM" isn't available yet for the Supra (on the fly map switching, live flex adjustment, rolling anti-lag). They're currently working out bugs/testing it, and they plan to release before the end of the year according to people who have asked them and reported back here.all jokes aside, as far as im aware you can use bm3, not ecutek. can you use full features of bm3? can i do map switches and full control of ethanel, etc etc?
Damn... I was hoping for a summer release..Bm3's "CustomROM" isn't available yet for the Supra (on the fly map switching, live flex adjustment, rolling anti-lag). It's not a joke. It says exactly what you can and can't do right now with clone vs. unlock.all jokes aside, as far as im aware you can use bm3, not ecutek. can you use full features of bm3? can i do map switches and full control of ethanel, etc etc?
You cannot current write to SWFA with an unlock (well, technically you can, but you need custom firmware which there isn't... yet).ECU to Femto, no cloning, partial unlock -> Calibration tunes only
—OR—
ECU to Femto, cloned to spare 2020, full unlock -> FCT
two more weeks.Bm3's "CustomROM" isn't available yet for the Supra (on the fly map switching, live flex adjustment, rolling anti-lag). They're currently working out bugs/testing it, and they plan to release before the end of the year according to people who have asked them and reported back here.
Thank you for posting an explanation for the peeps above. It's nice when someone takes the time to help/explain to others instead of posting cryptic, vague "you should know all this by now" replies.Partial Unlock - Calibration Tunes Only :
In the context of tuning a car's Electronic Control Unit (DME/ECU), the term "calibration tunes only" refers to the process of modifying or adjusting specific calibration parameters within the ECU to improve the vehicle's performance, fuel efficiency, or drivability. This means that the tuning service being offered focuses on making changes to the ECU's settings, rather than offering a complete custom tune or modifying the car's hardware.
Calibration tunes generally involve adjusting parameters such as air-fuel ratio, ignition timing, and boost levels to optimize the engine's performance. This may be done by a professional tuner or through the use of an aftermarket software that can access and modify the DME/ECU's settings.
You should all know this by now.you should know all this by now
Agreed that any of that have been serious enough to look into it do... but the new guys are just learning and need a basic understanding of terminology at the very least. You should all know this by now.
thank you sir,Partial Unlock - Calibration Tunes Only :

You can always flash your tune when ever you want. You will not get flex, but you can get E tunes, you'd flash a different tune based on E content.thank you sir,
so, on the fly map switching, does that mean through a sequence on the steering wheel? can you still switch maps but with the car turned off?
also with a partial unlock can you do e85/e30/meth? would it flex fuel or youd have to switch maps
You can switch maps with your phone e.g. MHD has a wireless OBD plugin module via wifi, yes sir, car needs to be on.thank you sir,
