How many track days you did in 2024

3 visits to VIR (2 charity lap days and 1 SCCA track night) and a visit to a dragstrip. Signed up with a local autoX club to hopefully develop better car control and inputs.

Great list! You don’t need to have a Porsche to drive in PCA. Actually my 1st track day way back when, was with them, in a Mazda RX8 ? They are less aggressive, non competitive, mega safe & thorough instruction. I’d drive with them again!

Fantastic! I’ll have to check those out. Even when it’s hot out (not driving) I might even go to some of those. I try to cram in as many as I can Oct-March. Sept & April are sketchy. The summer dates are okay for me if it rains. Ideally if it would rain early in the morning and dry out as the day goes on, that’d the best way to learn. Going slow and progressing as the day goes on. Unfortunately it’s usually the opposite & rains in the afternoon. Regardless, any rain is great experience. W/out it in the summer, it’s freaking brutal!!!! ?

I’ll look my next day off (Friday) and find my off weekends, dates to drive. You’ll love FARAs experienced instructors. Those guys all race, are considerate and knowledgeable. Plus I could ask Carlos about even doing a couple with you, since we have the same car.
