Recently I’m starting to notice some minor glitches in my iDrive system after completed my first 3K miles. First was my tires type in the tpms menu was reset by itself. This threw a notification on the main menu screen (I’m running on oem tires with aftermarket wheels but they’ve been on the car for a year already). Today while I was driving slowly at parking lot speed, the iDrive switched to parking assist mode by itself. Had any of these happened to you guys? I had this iDrive system in my BMW M2 before and it worked flawlessly and it was fine up until this point on my Supra.

Happened with my friends M2. He had to go to BMW for a firmware update/ reboot and they checked the connections.
if you live in a hot place and the car is getting hot being parked in the sun, it could be resetting due to a fail safe mode. Sorta like cells phones do when they get hot.

I’m assuming you have a 2021 and no tunes?
If so, take it to the dealer.

you can find this issue on a lot of BMW forums. Could have a solution other than what I said.

Regarding switching to parking assist mode. There's a setting in iDrive to auto-recognize parking situations and turn this on. It's not 100%, it sometimes mistakes normal, low-speed driving to a parking situation. If this bothers you, it can be turned off in the settings.
