Installed my Pure 800 turbo

No issues, but was really surprised when I got the stock turbo off. I just bought this car a few months. Older lady was original owner, car was bone stock 28k miles still had the original tires. The stock turbo had a surprising amount of shaft play. While there are no marks on the inner housing it has enough play to touch. I just went over 30k when I pulled turbo, so it’s been dead stock except for about a thousand miles with a BM3 OTS Stage 2 tune and catless dp. Have others seen shaft play with what is considered low mileage on their stock turbos?

I have 20K miles on a 2020 supra and recently installed a CTS turbo. The stock turbo has no perceivable shaft play. Granted I did not run the factory suggested oil for very long, before moving to a more appropriate oil. Edit: BM3 stage 2 was run for 17K miles.
